Release of CoDeSys driver
A large number of manufacturers of components for the automation industry (OEMs) already use CoDeSys as their programming system. Interoperability standard on the basis of standard transmission protocols such as TCP/IP form the technical basis for networking heterogeneous components. Without the user having to write special application code, the devices can communicate and exchange data via network variables, a multi-master mechanism. For this reason Pro-face has released a basic CoDeSys TCP driver to connect with the equipment of hardware manufacturers that are using the standard runtime system (version 2.x) provided with the CoDeSys development environment. This TCP driver is available for all GP-Pro EX V2.0 and higher.
